Come and Bring a Friend! We are so blessed that Mark has agreed to do this special performance on behalf of the children of ICSD. The rented property where the school has been housed has been sold and the new owner is evicting the school. The children are currently on summer break. When they return to school on January 6 the boys will have no place to live since the building which has housed them was on the rented property. The school does own land, but it has no buildings. All of the proceeds (100%) will go toward constructing a new Dormitory for the male students which is our most critical need. The cost of the new building is $11,000.00 |
SPECIAL EVENT January 29, 2012 - 7:00 p.m. A Special Benefit Concert for the IMMANUEL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF Enjoy the Saxophone Artistry of Mark Braskie VERNON ADVENT CHRISTIAN CHURCH Fort Bridgman Road Vernon, Vermont Mark Braskie is a gifted musician to be sure - he plays guitar, keyboard, clarinet, flute, recorder - and oh yes - SAXOPHONE! Boy, does Mark play the saxophone! And he's going to play for us on the Saxophone in a special concert called "Sax for the Soul" Moved by the plight of the children at Immanuel Christian School for the Deaf in Kenya, Mark has put together an evening of music for the entire family which will both entertain and bless! Fun for the entire Family! There is NO CHARGE for the concert, however there will be an opportunity to DONATE in support of the Immanuel Christian School for the Deaf. AGAPE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP ANNOUNCES The Institute for Christian Discipleship Online SEMESTER 2 BEGINS ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 6, 2012 6:30 P.M. If you would like to take part in a one year program of personal discipleship but do not live in the Brattleboro area, you can now enroll on line. The complete Institute for Christian Discipleship program is being offered on - line for anyone who would like to enroll. Students who complete the program will receive a certificate of completion when they have completed all requirements.
